PR1 Motorsports Test Goes Great

   After not driving for 2.5 months, Adrien hopped into a new car on a familiar track to shake off the rust and get back in gear for the upcoming 2008 ChampCar Atlantic season. This test took place at the familiar testing track of Buttonwillow, California, where PR1 Motorsports is based. PR1 Motorsports had success last year in the Champcar Atlantic Series, with a driver top 5 in points and 1 win. After some laps to shake out the cobwebs, Adrien got up to speed quickly and pushed the #23 car to its limits. Jonathon Bomarito, PR1's top driver from last year, was also at the test to do some laps himself. Bomarito and Adrien switched turns all day, trying to outdo each other on the track. Of course, Bomarito also proved a good resource as he had intimate knowledge of the #23 car and PR1's operations.
    "It was a really good day of testing. You know, I've been out of the car awhile and its really important not to go long in-between drives and become stagnant. We ran quick times through the day, and dealt with a slick track well." Adrien stated.
    After the test, next on the docket for Herberts is securing his 2008 budget to drive through the year. Once that has been signed, sealed, and delivered he can beginning setting up his testing schedule for the season.
