Off to a Fast Start

In his first test of the year with Paladin Motorsports, Adrien returned to a familiar track.  Last year, after running at the top of the grid at Sebring, Adrien ventured to MSR Houston and couldn't regain the success he had at Sebring.  That was 2007.  This year, with only one test under his belt so far, Adrien came to MSR with Paladin ready to make big improvements, and prove their contention for the 2008 campaign.  After a rainy Monday, in which teams did little running due to the conditions, Herberts was given his chance at redemption on Tuesday.  Herberts and the Paladin Motorsports team were over 1 second faster than themselves at the same time last year, and dropped from being 4 seconds off the pole last year to just .6 seconds this year.  Adrien and his engineer Juan Carlos also worked on some specific setups, trying to increase knowledge for the upcoming 2008 season.
"It was a great test.  We came in knowing we had to improve from last year, and we did that easily.  I am really excited to see things coming together so quickly" Herberts said.  "This is a good test to being the year with, and I look forward to many more successful days at the racetrack this year."
Next for Adrien and the Paladin Motorsports team is Sebring, Florida; the first official Atlantic test of the year.  In 2007, Adrien posted the top time in the Atlantic field at the Sebring test.
